CPP partners with Burkett Design to create new offices

Big changes are coming to CPP, and we couldn’t be more excited: The cutting edge technical work that has defined us since 1981 now has an office environment to match. On Monday, 15th September, 2014, we officially relocated CPP’s main offices to 2400 Midpoint Drive, Suite 190, Fort Collins, CO 80525.

“We really wanted a step change in our office environment,” says CPP CEO Oliver Napp. “Our staff had occupied the same offices since our company’s inception, and while the old building served us well, we’d long since outgrown the space.”

Moving to a new building presented us with an opportunity to create a space that wouldn’t just meet logistical requirements, but also nurture our culture of innovation and collaboration. We partnered with Burkett Design, an architecture and interior design firm from Denver, Colorado. Some of the design features they came up with include

  • Soft, inviting illumination, including plenty of natural daylighting where possible.
  • An open ceiling that exposes building systems.
  • Versatile, ergonomic workstations that offer employees the flexibility to sit low, sit high, or stand.
  • Innovative noise mitigation strategies.
  • Hubs and landmarks that encourage employee interaction.
  • A break room that expands to the outdoors in nice weather.

While the wind tunnels remain at our original location in north Fort Collins, the new offices are closer to Interstate 25, making it more convenient than ever for our clients and other guests to visit. Webcams, instant messaging, and video chat keep us connected to the wind tunnels and model shop and the staff who operate them.

Our new offices represent just the first of many changes we’re making to deliver the outstanding services and support our customers have come to expect. Read more about CPP’s new office project.
