Travis Engle has worked in the field of wind engineering since 2014. In that time, Travis has spent 7 years defining test plans and synthesizing wind tunnel data with dynamic properties to provide design forces. He has also developed software which aids in capturing critical wind conditions on aerodynamic pressure models.
Travis holds a BS and an MS in civil engineering from Colorado State University. During his MS thesis, he focused on theoretical tuned mass damper design on tall structures during seismic events.
Since joining CPP, Travis has performed studies for structural loads on tall buildings, component and cladding pressures, pedestrian wind comfort, door operability, single axis solar trackers, and wind effects on a variety of unique structures. He continues to develop tools which provide advanced wind load cases that enhance the structural design reliability of structures. Travis is a licensed PE in CO, AZ, and WV.
