Dr. Jubayer Chowdhury has been working in the field of wind engineering since 2011 and brings deep expertise in helping clients solve complex wind-related challenges. Over the past several years, his work has focused on advancing the performance and reliability of solar racking systems through wind tunnel testing, custom analysis tools, and innovative service offerings tailored to the renewable energy sector.

At CPP, Dr. Chowdhury has led studies on fixed-tilt and single-axis tracker solar systems. Beyond technical leadership, he has been instrumental in developing new analysis capabilities and services that provide clients with clearer insights, faster results, and more cost-effective solutions. His contributions have extended well beyond engineering, playing a key role in business development and helping expand CPP’s partnerships across the energy and infrastructure industries.

He holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering (B.S., BUET), Thermo-Fluids (M.S.), and Wind Engineering (Ph.D., University of Western Ontario). His doctoral research focused on validating numerical models for wind effects on solar panels and advanced methods for predicting solar panel efficiency.

Dr. Chowdhury has published widely and continues to serve as a reviewer for leading international journals. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario, Canada, an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and serves on the ASCE Tornado Loading Subcommittee.
