CPP, Inc. is pleased to announce that Tom McGimpsey has joined our board of directors.

Tom currently serves as Executive Vice President of Corporate Development and general legal counsel for Advanced Energy (AE), an international company that, like CPP, calls Fort Collins, Colorado, home. Advanced Energy develops power and control technologies for thin film manufacturers of such products as semiconductors, solar, glass, flat panel display, and industrial coatings.

“Tom will bring a valuable set of skills to CPP’s board of directors,” says CEO Oliver Napp. “With his experience and knowledge base as an executive and member of other boards of directors, Tom is a great fit for our strategic vision as the world leader in wind engineering services.”

Prior to joining Advanced Energy, Tom served in legal and executive positions with First Data Corporation, McDATA Corporation, US WEST, and Software Technology, Inc., in addition to private practice consulting and advising. He holds an MBA from Colorado State University, a law degree from the University of Colorado, and a Bachelor of Science in computer science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
