Laura Knight is the Chief Operating Officer of the North American corporation at CPP. She leads the firm’s strategic and operational execution across Design, Laboratory, Engineering, Project Management, and Weather & Climate Insights, ensuring scalable, efficient, and high‑performing business operations.
Laura brings a unique combination of government, financial, and operational leadership experience. She served nine years in the United States Air Force and Air Force Reserves as an Acquisitions Officer Program Manager, where she led complex defense acquisition programs. Since joining CPP in 2016, she has transformed core financial and operational functions, including revenue recognition, invoicing, reporting, and profitability analysis, while also leading enterprise IT improvements and internal systems auditing.
In 2019, Laura established CPP’s Project Management department, introducing the Master Scheduler role to improve resource optimization, capacity planning, budget and risk tracking, and cross‑team collaboration. Her leadership has strengthened operational transparency, financial discipline, and delivery consistency across the organization.
Laura holds a B.S.B.A. in Health Services Management from Robert Morris University and an M.B.A. in Project Management from Wright State University. With more than 25 years of experience across government and private sectors, she plays a central role in driving CPP’s growth, integration, and long‑term evolution.
