We are looking for a Design Supervisor to lead and support a team of designers delivering innovative wind tunnel engineering projects.
Success in this role means effectively leading people, maintaining high design quality standards, managing project priorities, and ensuring engineering deliverables are completed accurately, safely, and on schedule. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across multiple regions and time zones.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing design team that consistently delivers quality outcomes.
- Ensure design deliverables meet project requirements, company standards, and fabrication objectives.
- Effectively manage workloads, resources, and priorities to keep projects on track and within budget.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to support sound engineering decisions and problem-solving.
- Drive consistency, accuracy, and continuous improvement across design processes and workflows.
- Build strong collaboration across engineering, operations, and project teams to achieve project goals.
- Foster a positive team culture focused on accountability, learning, safety, and professional growth.
- Champion safe design practices and support compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
Skills & Experience
- Degree qualification in Engineering, Design, Drafting, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in an engineering design or technical design environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring, or supervising design teams.
- Experience delivering complex engineering projects within defined timelines and budgets.
- Strong understanding of CAD-based design processes and design review practices.
- Excellent planning, organisation, and project coordination skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable working with international teams across different locations and time zones.
